A Multiobjective Optimization Approach for Retrofitting Decision-Making towards Achieving Net-Zero Energy Districts: A Numerical Case Study in a Tropical Climate

Buildings are among the main reasons for deterioration of world environment as they responsible a large percentage CO2 emissions related to energy. For this reason, it is necessary find solutions problem. This research project consists constructing metamodel an urbanization located in Panama, Herrera province. The classification and systematization its elements, using software DesignBuilder SysML diagrams, were carried out subsequent implementation optimization analysis that seeks approach NZED standard. objectives reducing energy consumption at lowest possible price while maintaining or improving thermal comfort. In study, was reduce electricity least 60% original value about 10% renewable generation capacity by implementing techniques within retrofit category envelope buildings occupant’s behavior.
